Charter Information & Policies

When should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled booking time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened experience and are not grounds for refunds or extensions.

Where does the charter depart from?

All charters depart from:

Rose Bay Marina
594 New South Head Road
Rose Bay NSW 2029

Are there any onboard rules I should know about?

Yes. To ensure safety and protect our vessels:

  • Red wine is not permitted onboard wavii yachts
  • Stiletto and sharp-heeled shoes are prohibited
  • You may be asked to remove shoes before boarding

Failure to comply may result in refusal of boarding.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing:

  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Camera
  • Comfortable, non-marking shoes
What happens if it rains?

Charters operate rain or shine. Light rain or cloud cover is not grounds for cancellation.

The charter will only be cancelled if the Master determines conditions are unsafe, such as:

  • Gale warnings
  • Lightning
  • Unsafe sea state
  • Authority-issued safety advisories
Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes — BYO food, beverages, and ice are welcome.

We'll provide:

  • Coolers
  • Serving platters
  • Glassware
  • Great music
Is there a limit on guest numbers?

Yes. You must not exceed the guest number confirmed in your booking.

Under no circumstances may guest numbers exceed the vessel's certified legal capacity or operational limits, as determined by the Master.

What if extra guests arrive?

If more guests arrive than confirmed or legally permitted, wavii may (at its discretion):

  • Refuse boarding to additional guests
  • Delay departure while numbers are reduced
  • Cancel or terminate the charter for safety or compliance reasons

If the issue cannot be promptly resolved, the charter may be treated as a late cancellation, with fees applied in line with our cancellation policy.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation notice is measured from the charter date:

  • More than 30 days
Full refund minus a $25 administration fee and any non-refundable Service or Booking Fees.
  • 15–30 days
25% forfeited, 75% refunded (less admin and non-refundable fees).
  • 0–14 days
50% forfeited, 50% refunded (less admin and non-refundable fees).

Service and Booking Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

Can I reschedule my charter?

Rescheduling is subject to availability and wavii approval.

A reschedule may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking where:

  • Notice is within 14 days
  • The requested date or time is peak demand
  • Third-party costs have already been incurred

Any credit issued must be used by the stated expiry date and is not redeemable for cash, unless required by law.

What if wavii cancels the charter?

wavii may cancel due to mechanical issues, Force Majeure, or unforeseen vessel or crew unavailability.

If this occurs, we will offer (at our option):

  • A substitute vessel of similar standard and capacity, or
  • A full refund of the charter fee paid

wavii is not liable for consequential losses such as travel or accommodation costs, to the extent permitted by law.

Where can I find the full legal terms?

Full details are available in our Terms of Service, which form part of your booking agreement.
